Victoria on site at Farringdon
Victoria visiting the Crossrail site at Farringdon, the largest construction project in Europe. Crossrail will have 40 stations linking Reading and Heathrow in the west to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east. The line will add around 10 per cent capacity to London’s rail network. The construction of the line, including new tunnels and stations, is now over half complete. It is expected that Crossrail services will start on the central section by late 2018.
